Well as I said hubby asked me to make a retirement card for our next door neighbour as he retire's from his fireman job today.
And I kind of panicked at making a card, as I didn't know what to do.
I used white pearlised card and I embossed around all 4 sides in 1/2cm increments.
I matted and layed using silver mirri card and black card and I decoupaged the fire-truck and I used red and black dew drops on the sides.
I hope that my neighbour likes it.

My husband asked me to make him 2 thank you cards for his friends as they took him to Scotland for a golfing weekend.
It had to be golf themed. But the trouble was that I made a golf themed card for one of the friends in August and didn't want to do the same.
So I had a dig around the vast mounting cd roms that I have and had a quick peek and I remembered the flippin' men range so I got The Big One cd rom from justinklined and saw a perfect golfing one. Luckily for me I had some of the card which I just needed.
And I added the words thank you with a silver alphabet peel offs which my husband is pleased with.
Now he has told me that I need to do a retirement card for my next door neighbour who is a fireman so I better pull my finger out. X

With this card I used White Neenah card for the base
And I added a silver mirri card
Then I cut some more nenes card and embossed it with the 6x6 I believe embossilicious embossing folder.
I also used a die to cut out the village I forgot who manufactured it sorry. And I added a bit of silver mirri card behind the windows then added foam pads at the back to add depth.
Then I matted and layed silver and white card and used silver peel off happy Christmas sentiment.
This is the last card I am making for this months crafter's companion UK blog challenge.

I have made this card for my sis in law as it is her birthday in a few days and I am also entering this in this months crafter's companion uk blog and this months theme is embossing.
At the moment I am so loving the Makey Bakey Mice they are so cute.
For this card I stamped Make a wish stamp with memento ink onto white centura pearlised card. I let the ink dry and used my beloved spectrum noir pens.
I then used a pink pearlised card from the pastels set I made a 5x5 twisted easel card. I then matted the white pearlised card onto black card and then mirri which I had attached to the pink pearlised card.
The bottom layer I cut black card which I cut smaller and then the mirri card which was smaller and embossed using seasonal music embossilicious 8x8 embossing folder I do love it.
Then I stamped the sentiment (birthday cake is the best kind there is) onto pink pearlised card and matted it onto silver mirri then black card. Then I put foam tape at the bottom to give it a lift.
Then I added some pink pearls and some flowers.
Thank you for looking x
